[1]You must always have prudence and love. Prudence has the eyes; love has the legs. Love which has the legs would like to run to God, but its impulse to rush toward Him is blind and at times might stumble, if it were not guided by prudence which has the eyes. When prudence sees that love could become unbridled, it loans its eyes to love. In this way love restraints itself and guide by prudence, acts as it should and not as it would like.”

[2] “Walk with simplicity in the way of the Lord and do not torment your spirit. You must hate your sins, but with a tranquil hate, not worryingly or restlessly.”

[3] “Humility, humility and always humility. Satan fears and trembles before humble souls. The Lord is willing to do great things, but on condition that we are truly humble.”

[5]  “I am oppressed by the uncertainty of my future, but I cherish the lively hope of seeing my dreams fulfilled, because the Lord cannot place thoughts and desires in a person’s soul if He does not really intend to fulfill them, to gratify these longings which He alone has caused.”

[6] “God enriches the soul which empties itself of everything.”

[7] “Prayer is the best armor we have, it is the key which opens the heart of God.”

[8] “God wants to wed the soul in faith and the soul which is to celebrate this heavenly marriage must walk in pure faith, which is the only suitable means for this loving union.”

[9] “Never rise  from the table, moreover, without having given due thanks to the Lord. If we act in this way we need have no fear of the wretched sin of gluttony. As you eat, take care not to be too difficult to please in the matter of food, bearing in mind that it is very easy to give in to glutonny. Never eat more than you really need …… I don’t mean to say that you should rise from the table without eating. No, this is not my intention. Let everything be regulated by prudence which should be the rule in all our actions.”

[10] The most beautiful Credo is the one we pronounce in our hour of darkness.”

[11] “Remember that the axis of perfection is charity; who lives centered in charity, lives in God, because God is charity, as the Apostles said.”

[12] “Humility is truth, truth is humility.”

[13]  “It is not a loss of patience if one asks Jesus to take away pain, when this becomes insupportable to us and beyond our strength, nor does one lose the merit of the suffering which is offered, by asking this of God.”

[14] “The lie is the child of the demon.”

[15] “Beneficence, from wherever it may come, is always the child of the same mother, that is Providence.”
